According to Hits Daily Double (the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS),
SLIPKNOT's new album, "All Hope Is Gone" is poised to sell between 230,000 and 250,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release. The CD will go head-to-head with Geffen rapper THE GAME's "L.A.X." for the top spot on next week's The Billboard 200 chart.
SLIPKNOT's last album, "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)", opened with 243,000 copies back in June 2004 to debut at No. 2. "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)" was the follow-up to "Iowa", which registered a first-week sales tally of more than 254,000 copies back in September 2001 to enter The Billboard 200 chart at No. 3.
