A Texas radio station conducted an interview with SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan when the band's Rockstar Mayhem Energy Festival tour recently passed through the state. The five-minute clip, which includes interview footage with some of the group's fans, can be viewed below.

Rivera Amplification has posted a video interview with Drew Foppe, Mick Thomson's (SLIPKNOT) guitar tech, conducted backstage at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour. Drew shows us Mick's amps, cabs, effects and guitars. Watch the six-minute clip below.

SLIPKNOT's new album, "All Hope Is Gone", is scheduled for release on August 26. In addition to the standard edition of "All Hope Is Gone", a special edition of the LP will be released featuring three bonus tracks, expanded artwork and a bonus DVD containing "Nine: The Making Of All Hope Is Gone" — a 35-minute documentary directed by SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan.

According to News24.com, a schoolboy who stabbed a fellow pupil to death with a sword in Krugersdorp, South Africa this morning (Monday, August 18) was apparently high on drugs and was dressed like SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison, saying Satan had told him to kill the children.

He also stabbed two gardeners at Nic Diederichs technical high school, said Captain Jacob Raboroko of the Johannesburg police.

The matriculant, wearing a black balaclava over a face smeared with black paint, entered the school premises with the sword and stabbed and killed a boy just before school assembly,

"He stabbed one of the schoolkids in the neck and he died. He then went further and stabbed a gardener in the back and another gardener in the face. They were taken to hospital in serious conditions," said Raboroko.
